Nestled deep in Haute-Savoie with a Canadian vibe, welcome to Châtel! For the past two decades, Châtel has carved out a core reputation in the world of mountain biking. With its naturally challenging terrain, it was only fitting that the trails here match the intensity. In 2007, a freeride event was born: Châtel Mountain Style. It quickly attracted the world's top freeriders (like Semenuk, Sorge, Strait, Zink, Agassiz, to name a few) and put Châtel on the map for enthusiasts everywhere. Since then, the Bike Park has maintained its legendary status with a dedicated team of 10 bike patrollers who tirelessly shape and innovate the trails year after year, ensuring they exceed riders' dreams.

The Bike Park offers everything from technical challenges to flow trails of varying difficulty levels and aerial features! In total, there are no less than 21 trails awaiting riders. Nico Vink has also left his mark with his namesake trail, divided into three sections, which are among the most popular in the Bike Park.

Châtel's Bike Park isn't easily tamed but is a logical choice for progressing riders eager to tackle challenges and refine their skills, as well as seasoned pilots looking for an exceptional playground. Another advantage of Châtel is its central location within the vast Portes du Soleil domain. From here, riders can easily venture out for a day of riding in Morzine, Les Gets, or Champery—all with the same lift pass.
