Join us in Chartres for the French Trophy!
The French Trophy, the French championship for young BMX riders, will take place on June 15 and 16 at the Jean-Gallet stadium. Come and discover today's young talents and, who knows, the future Olympic champions of tomorrow! Two days of competition, 1,200 riders aged 14 and under divided into 10 categories, 5,000 visitors expected... the French Trophy BMX Race does not do things by halves.
Supported by C'Chartres BMX, the only competition-certified club in Eure-et-Loir, and by the City under the aegis of the French Cycling Federation, the French Trophy is a major sporting event, organized three weeks before the Olympic torch passes through Chartres. Jodie Viemont, a Chartraine rider and relay runner at the BMX World Championship in Glasgow in 2023 and Rock Hill in the USA in May, will have the honor of carrying the torch.
A FAMILY EVENT
The French Trophy features two days of high-intensity BMX racing! In the "race" category, eight riders launch simultaneously from the top of a hill onto a track about 400 meters long with obstacles and turns. Spectacle and thrills guaranteed! Next to the track, you can enjoy the Terres de Jeux activity village with youth-friendly stands including laser rifle shooting, smoothie bikes, fencing, and parasports. Entertainment, strolling acts, a family evening on Saturday, June 15, food trucks, and refreshment stands complete the rich program of this sporty and festive weekend.
