The Magura MT8 SL FM is the ultimate competition brake, designed to deliver outstanding braking power, uncompromising reliability, and top-level ergonomics.

Thanks to the Carbotecture SL brake master and the 1-finger HC carbon lever, the MT8 SL FM is a true lightweight. Carbotecture SL is a composite material which, thanks to embedded carbon fibers, is not only light but also extremely strong.

Highly regarded, the 1-finger HC carbon brake lever comes factory-fitted on the MT8 SL FM. It is lighter and stiffer than its aluminum counterpart, ensuring maximum performance on the bike. The MT8 lever is also reversible (can be mounted left or right).

The MT8 SL’s 2-piston caliper is forged from a single block. The result: despite its incredibly low weight, the MT8 delivers the greatest braking power and durability within the 2-piston range. It also comes equipped with a pair of magnetized brake pads.
