MEYBO HSX AL FRAME

The Meybo HSX AL is a high-performance race frame designed for riders who demand top-level speed and stiffness without opting for carbon. With its advanced engineering and increased rigidity, the HSX AL is the fastest aluminum frame in the Meybo lineup. Lightweight, responsive, stable, and stiff — it delivers all the key performance characteristics racers look for in one package.

Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with hydroformed, multi-butted tubing, the HSX AL achieves optimal strength-to-weight balance. Its geometry has been specifically developed for World Cup and Championship tracks, providing the perfect combination of agility and stability at high speeds.

For this new model, in addition to completely renewed graphics, almost all tubes have also been redesigned. The focus has been placed not only on appearance, but also on quality, weight, and stiffness.

The frame is compatible only with Flat Mount brake calipers, meaning the caliper is directly mounted on the rear stay. This setup is designed exclusively for 120 mm brake rotors — 140 mm rotors are not compatible. The frame comes with 1 mm, 2 mm, and 4 mm spacers to properly align your rotor if you’re not using an HSX-specific SD hub. Depending on the frame size, the bottom bracket standard changes: Junior, Expert and Expert XL sizes use BB86 (Ø41 mm); Larger sizes feature a Pressfit BB386 (Ø46 mm)This ensures greater stiffness and reduced flex during pedaling. To further increase rigidity and maintain consistent chainstay length across different gear ratios, the rear triangle features a CNC-machined 7005 aluminum 15 mm thru-axle. For consistent chain tension, Meybo designed an integrated chain tensioner, ensuring optimal drivetrain performance with any gearing setup.
